You've asked the kids to write down three traits that show characterization, where? Is that part of the prompt, should we do that on paper, or as a note while reading?
\n
\nAlso do you have a characterization reference that could go into their poetry folder as a quick check while reading?
\n
\nYour lesson plans has a lot of tell, explain, remind, etc, how can you make the kids active in this process?

I wrote down all of my suggestions, and I am eager to see how they incorporate them. While I met with each student, I had the other students read the play and then fill out the questions on Google docs. They seemed to enjoy using the laptops to answer the questions. Judging from some of their responses, we may need to go back and take a closer look at some parts of the reading.
